Driving Routes to the Best Light Shows in the Neighborhood
[Last updated in December 2024]
Here it is- the best interactive residential light shows throughout Chicagoland! Not only are there specific addresses to visit, I also have recommended driving routes to hit all the best houses in each county. For a larger, interactive map to view, click on each photo or on the link provided.. These maps are just a guide; skip or add any shows you would like to your own drive!
Each list does have a couple of homes that are currently unconfirmed if they are running this year, but they are along the way to the next destination, so it doesn’t hurt to swing by and check! Please note that these unconfirmed homes are listed in the “Addresses” section, but at times, they are not included in the driving directions that are on the map. You can however, go to the interactive Google map, and the addresses listed will have notes on which homes are unconfirmed, along with website links to the homes that are confirmed.
These journeys will take you anywhere between 45 mins to 2 hours long from start to finish, so sit back, relax, grab some snacks on-the-go and enjoy the shows!

‘Tis the season for holiday markets and festive decor! But even better if you pair that with a local farm that sells fresh produce, baked goods or Christmas trees, or has a petting and feeding zoo.
